Abstract (EN)

20th century is the century of new beginnings and new changes. The improvements in science and technology increased the opportunities of communication, and removed the national borders. In this century that communication has improved that much language (the foundation-stone of communication) has started to be examined in different dimentions by linguistics. Semiology put forward the existence of other communication languages. Language and language of art is a bit different. The words in our daily languages have only one meaning but the symbols which we use in the language of art have more then one meaning. Nowadays, we use semiolojical analysis. While we are doing a picture's semiological analyze we must consider the pictures shope peculiarities. Its age, inner meaning, the artists private and inner life and historical and sociological effects of its term Recently, the examine area of Semiology has improved and nearly has moved in to the now areas. Especially the functional peculiarities of "Single meaning" "multi meaning" "straight meaning" and "second meaning" that are seen in art crafts are trying to be arose. While we are anolyzing the meaning of art craft with semiological method we must consider the phases before and after the craft occurred. The first phase of existence is "Image". Artist takes some impression, from nature but although these admonitory of impressions disappear, the images are still alive in the artists mind. The artist gains synthesis with his/her cbsevatans at the end of this synthesis he/she reaches the expression. To exists the expression it must gain a physical presence. By the way with its appearance its content gains importance. To understand the artists shape language in the craft the colors and the line of the craft must be solved. İn 20th century figurative painting the changes in the shape and meaning started with Empressionism. The beginning and the ending dates of two very important world war which got the changes faster were very important signs for the figurative picture art. Since 1960's in the changes of figurative painting art, the mass communication equipments effect can be seen easily.
