Özet (EN)

In the first part of the thesis; It is discussed how the statues existed in urban and public spaces throughout the historical process and for what reasons they were included. Explanations were made on the formation of urban spaces and the concepts of public space, how they were handled historically, and their conceptual changes today. Sculpture, which has been frequently seen in human culture since the ancient period, has become a part of public spaces in the modern period, where industry is rapidly advancing, and in today's period, it has been emphasized how sculpture and art are reflected in public spaces. Within the framework of these explanations, in the first part, the art of sculpture is reviewed in the context of its relationship with the environment in the city and public spaces. In the second part, examples were given about the environmental interaction of kinetic sculpture, which developed with the influence of the Constructivism art movement, and the artists who gave movement and movement to the sculpture. With technological developments and computers changing our lives, the emergence of different methods, techniques and materials in the field of art and sculpture has been reflected in the public sphere. With the development of computer programs, new technological expression possibilities such as modeling and animation within digital software are emphasized and their effects in today's technological age are emphasized. During the process, my individual works were finalized within digital programs by considering urban spaces in the context of the relationship of sculpture with the environment.
