Food culture and culinary structure of the Yoruks which is living in the middle Taurus from the 20th century to the presedent day

Information about the culinary is given to us by Yoruks, who will find traces of Turkish Culture from Central Asia to Anatolia - as it is in every sense. In this study, Yoruks living in the Central Taurus were examined and their 20th century and later culinary structures and food cultures were examined. Since there is no special research on the culinary of the Yoruks it is thought that this research will make it easier for Yoruk to focus on cooking cultures and culinary structures. This study was prepared as a result of supporting the data obtained from the field using qualitative research techniques in the related literature. In order to better analyze the eating styles of the Yoruks , the Sarıkeçililer, a community that still maintains the nomadic lifestyle, has been applied and interviewed and participatory observation techniques structured in Yeşilovacık District of Mersin's Silifke District in April 2015 have been implemented..A methodological approach was followed in the whole of the study. As it is in all the Yoruks, the living conditions of the Yoruks in the Central Taurus are also connected with the culinary, so their general life styles have also been reported in the research. In this research, it is planned to introduce the kitchen materials that the Yoruks used in the past and used today, and the agriculture and livestock that enable the shaping of the food cultures of the Yoruk have been included.
