Abstract (EN)

The aim of this research is to find out the views of teachers? about Primary Science Curriculum which was put into practise in 2001-2002 and 2005-2006 academic years, the research also shows the problems the teachers faced while implementing the new science curriculum. The research was carried out with 27 primary schools selected randomly from central of Adana. The sample consists of 192 teachers who work in these schools. A questionnaire which was developed for a smilar research was used to determine the views of the teachers. T- test and variance analysis were used for finding comparisons. The results of this research are summarized as follows: There are significant differences between the curriculum of years 2001 and 2005 regarding the views of teachers on objecties, content, teching-learning activities, evaluations and technological developments in terms of some variables. However, there is no significant difference between the views of the teachers relation in terms of some variables. The teachers approach more positive to the curriculum of year 2005. The most important problems which teachers faced during the implementation in the curriculum in 2005 are insufficent of materials at schools, insufficent knowledge of teachers about new curriculum and not to be able to deliver of the guide books of the teachers? on time.
