Abstract (EN)

Social sciences including educational sciences is an initiative which is belong to modern world. Social science is based on empirically approved and systematic attempt to develop worldly knowledge about the reality. Therefore it itself plays a role in the modern world whose as a part of this construction too. Social sciences as being a knowledge and especially power techniques has settled on indispensable position because of the modern state needs more accurate information which is based on for it's decisions, in case of a necessity to managing the communities living social fragmentation by the economic, political, historical reasons , for reproduce the system and the human resources as seen required by systemToday, communication and transport is increased and this increase is a time to increase exponentially. In technological developments life is easier too but it is complicated relationships between people. For this reason, the location of the primary relationships have left secondary relationships. Thinker such as Baudrillard thinks of unrealistic considering we live in a virtual simulation of the universe. Now, with people halfway around the world, set up instant communication of the upper floor there are a lot of people does not know his neighbors . In case the role and responsibility of social studies teaching are gradually increasing in both social and individual sense. In this context, It is also important curriculum evaluation studies.Generally, an evaluation conducted on the study program in the field, all the elements of the program are given due weight and respect. However, adequate and appropriate training programs, feedback programs and of course academic research programs should be given importance. This means determining the curriculum with due attention to faults and shortcomings in the elements of a program. First of all and most importantly targeting the achievements intended through a program. It would be reasonable to consider that while evaluating that instead of evaluating all the elements together, single element of the program is more useful and acceptable. Moreover, the major factors to be considered in the program achievements are not just the influence and achievement of the students in the program but the official opinion of the teachers on the basis of a holistic approach given to the program along with other elements.Objectives/achievements as we know are the fundamental elements of a teaching program. Content, teaching and learning process along with tests carried out will help realize these gains fully. Primary Education, in the 7th grade, the social studies is taught throughout Turkey in the second semester, well prepared by a researcher, the validity and the reliability of the 32-item achievement test applied to the students in order to understand the progress. Known as the Pre-test data obtained in the application study, belonging to 96 students is mean X = 42 953 respectively. The program prepared and evaluated by the Ministry of National Education Commission, Teaching on Social Science 2004 was inducted into the curriculum to obtain the achievements that are to be put into practice. Experienced teachers have been introduced within the framework of the relevant program documents. In addition to the class room teaching, activities outside the classroom teaching like, trips and observation, museum studies etc., carried out throughout the normal process. Creating a control group the current program was carried out on the basis of the principles and methods of teaching and learning. Re-applied the same at the final test at the end of the period to the students the arithmetic average as X = 61.838 was obtained. The achievement test prepared by researcher is composed of 32 questions. The mean difficulty of the test was calculated to be .55 and KR-20 reliability coefficient was measured .90. The five-point Likert-style teachers' perceptions scale consisted of 27 items and included five sub-scales. KMO value of the scale was measured to be .90 ; Barttlet's test was measured to be 2432.066 and Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient was calculated to be .928.One group pre-test and post-test pattern, with an average pre-test and post-test achievement scores of success if there is a significant difference between the average score, "t" test was evaluated. "t" as a result "t" value is statistically significant and different from the last test, the program can be said to be successful (Erden, No date: 55). It is prepared scientifically for social studies program within the framework of the rules applied to the arithmetic average of the scores obtained from the pre-test and post-test scores of the arithmetic average of the difference between the "t" test was checked and the "t" value (15.846 p = .000 < .05) was significant. In Particular a process-oriented approach to the development program is determined as per the needs of the students aiming at the purpose, objectives and actions. This approach is therefore, teacher and student oriented as it takes into consideration their feelings, thoughts and personal preferences as seen by themselves and the decisions taken on the basis of the program . No matter how well prepared a program; teachers' perceptions of the program, application of the conditions greatly affect the program till it reaches its destination. Survey of the questions used in the study, teachers' beliefs about and perceptions of the program all work together based on as the socio-economic conditions, communication, supervision, tools, equipment, relationships with parents and administration, as well as some of the factors that may affect the acquisition of the achievements that are taken into account. The students included in the explorative study program based on their achievement takes into consideration, gender, occupation and education level of the parents, the total monthly income; survey on the outcome of the program, screened results on the views of teachers, their gender, seniority, education level including the names of their colleges, reading, participating in the activities related to the program 2004, their participation in the service training course, reading scientific papers related to the socio-economic level of the school, size of the class according to the independent variables, such as PASW. Statistics 18 parametric tests showed a normal distribution of variances program where "t" and ANOVA. The variance cases show abnormal distributions with non-parametric tests were checked with MWU and KWH. The findings obtained are shown and interpreted in 273 separate tables, except for prepared tables for descriptive statistics.Looking at the structure of the result beyond simple factual information displayed, higher-level learning will be targeted. This information on facts to a certain extent focuses on patterns that make up the information rather than the direction of the target program beyond the minimum sense of acute comparison. To be able to think, comment and criticize, a scientific method of skill applied in the process to create and configure a style of social studies. The existing uncertainties in the employed style provide the basis to understand and interpret the multiple meanings even if it seems confusing to those who have become accustomed to the net. Moreover interpreting to comprehend the double meaning at the same time . Along with this the results of 2004 SBOP' are more clearly seen in this study, and some of the constructive problems of learning, is different from Bloom's taxonomy theory, has already glossed over an argument combining cognitive, affective and psychomotor objectives. As a result, despite of all criticisms that could be called up and which live relatively for short period of time, the 7th grade social study program, even for those who oppose it, the common ground that the marks in everything is a bit more developed and completed notwithstanding the shortcomings. Indeed, this is already a dynamic cycle of program that needs development. Keywords: Acquisitions (attainment), pretest and post test results, teachers' perceptions, social studies curriculum, social sciences.
