Research on the effects of traffic accidents occurred in the year 2004 on children age under 14

In this master?s thesis, among 537 384 traffic accidents which are recorded byTrafik Bilgi şlem Sistemleri Başkanlığı in the year 2004, the traffic accidentswhich affected the children under the age of 14 are analyzed. The informationabout passenger, pedestrian, vehicle and road interaction are collected in adatabase which is prepared by a special software and evaluated for assessingthe effects of these accidents on the children age under 14. This wide variety ofinformation, which can be utilized for further studies are presented in the formof graphics. The information derived from the graphics, are the values knownmore or less by the whole society. Through this thesis, the information issystematically introduced and the suggestions are attributed to scientific data.
