Classification of actions used in 2006 and 2015 Turkish teaching programs according to the revised bloom taxonomy

The instruction programmes have a great importance in terms of a lesson process. Teaching programs in our country are prepared by the Ministry of National Education. These programmes have been developped in accordance with the requirements of the age. This study was conducted in order to determine the level of emergence from the students in higher level cognitive steps in the revised bloom taksonomy expected from Turkish teaching programs.This research aims the verbs which take place in the curriculum of Turkish language to be classified and new verbs to be added in the curriculum. The verbs which are used in the acquisitions of the curriculum are in a limited number and they usually go on with the repetition of the same acquisitions.This study, to bring in new verbs in Turkish language skills and to provide students with reach high level cognitive skills are desired.This study, the verbs have been determined by using "The Word Frequency Dictionary of Written Turkish Language","The Frequency Dictionary of Turkish Language" and "The Reverse Frequency Dictionary of Turkish Language" and these verbs have been given by sorting them from A to Z. It is proposed to use actions, which have been determinded and tried to be trained, in the curriculums to be newly prepared. The acquisitions of reading, listening, speaking, writing and grammar are found in 2006 and the areas oral communication, reading and writing skills are found in 2015.It has been determined at which steps the acquisitions which are found in the Turkish language curriculums of 2006 and 2015 have increased by classifying them according to the Revised Bloom Taxonomy.As a result of this study, it has been seen that most of the acquisitions in the curriculums have centred on the step of practice and the step of creating hasn't been given place much out of the writing skill.This study, Turkish teaching programs for 2006 and 2015 were discussed. It has been seen that the achievements in the programs do not take place in the upper levels sufficiently. The verbs presented by using frequency dictionaries to be used in the turkish teaching programs to be prepared in the suggestions part of the work are presented in a table.
