Abstract (EN)

Economic crises are events that effect history of humanity. Besides their economic effects also have political, sociologic and sociologic effects. At the other hand they provide results and evidence to be aware of economic inefficiencies, role of economy in sociology and wrong ecenomic decisions. To understand those effects on life and to make beter economic decisions economic crises should be analyzed systematically.This thesis aims to provide a point of view about the global economic crises triggered in 2007 and became a credit crunch and analyse some events occured in the USA, EU, Turkey and other important economies of the world. Study also examines interactions between different markets and sectors.Firstly, to better understand 2008 crisis, the concept of crises with developments in the world economy will be held. Types of macroeconomic and financial crises will be examined, and briefly past great economic crises will be investigated. Finally, development of 2008 economic crises, causes and results of the crises will be examined. All causes and results will be supported with numbers and expectations for post crises will be summarized.
