Abstract (EN)
Aluminum alloys have been developed in the composition for different requirements in industry. The use of aluminum alloys in the industry continues to increase due to the difference in the alloy element and quantity. Machining methods are widely used in forming aluminum alloys due to their high machining capabilities. Physical properties of these aluminum alloys vary depending on their composition. Therefore, machining capabilities vary. Therefore, it is important for industrial studies to investigate the machining properties for each aluminum alloy. In this study, the effects of cutting speed and feed amount variables on surface roughness, axial misalignment, diameter change, circularity and hole quality values were investigated. In the experimental studies, extrusion product AA 2011-T6 Aluminum alloy was used. 14 mm diameter uncoated carbide drill is selected as cutting tool. Direct hole drilling method was used without pausing in CNC drilling and drilling was performed. Different drilling parameters (0,09-0,12-0,15-0,18 mm / rev) and the cutting speed (160-200-240-280 m / min) were used. Processes were performed using coolant. Three experiments were performed and mean values were taken for each experimental condition. Surface roughness (Ra) values of the samples were measured. Hole center axis measurements, hole diameter measurements, diameter change measurements, circularity measurements and hole axis offset measurements were made with 3 dimensional measurement system. The results clearly show that the cutting speed and the amount of advance have an effect on the surface roughness, axial misalignment values, diameter change values, circular geometry.
