Abstract (EN)

This study aims to examine the impact of international migration in Çankırı between 2012-2018 on crime rates. In this context, firstly the researches on the subject were examined and the theoretical part of the study was formed in the light of the obtained information. By looking at the field of study from a general perspective, its geographical location is handled in human and physical terms. The attractiveness of the region on external migration has been tried to be questioned by looking at the characteristics of the region studied. The number and types of crimes in Çankırı city were analyzed by dividing them into Turkish citizens and foreign nationals. In this distinction, the change in crime rates has been questioned. As a result of the study, it was determined that international migrations did not change the types of crime much between 2012-2018 in the region studied, but the increase in crime rates increased rapidly in the specified years.
