Abstract (EN)
Since the early days of the known history; getting information and being informed have become one of the most important social activities of people, because it increases knowledge, cognitive capacities, quality of life and security. Nowadays, individuals are benefiting from newspapers in order to be aware of and evaluate events happening from their close circles to the various in different countries of the world, and the speed and capacity of news activities are rapidly increasing, thanks to the developing internet technology. However, journalism is exposed to the criticism more and more which the changes in parallel with the speed and capacity of news that its form and content have changed. At the beginning of these criticisms is how the ideology affects the structural integrity of the news. In this study you have read, by using Teun A. van Dijk's method of critical discourse analysis, it has been researched how news published in the internet sites of Hürriyet, Habertürk, Sabah, Yeni Akit, Cumhuriyet and Evrensel newspapers of Turkey, influence the structural integrity of news of the ideologies they have adopted, during the 30 day period following the Manisa-Soma Mining Facility Disaster, which took place on May 13, 2014 and occupied the world agenda for a long time. The findings of this study has been determined that the newspapers continued the ideological campaign through discourse, even in the news of an event did not have a theoretical ideological dimension.
