Analysis of the rise of an extreme and populist right wing within the social construction theory : The case of 2017 Germany election

The refugees who had to leave their countries due to Arab Spring started to appear in late 2010 and all through 2011. Syrian civil war have increased the number of migrants to Europan countries. In 2015, a major refugee crisis was experienced in this process, far-right parties with anti-immigrant discourses have taken to rise. AfD, founded as an anti euro and anti immigrant in 2013, was the first extreme right party that could enter the federal parliament throughout political history of Germany and it received 12,6 percent of the vote in 2017 election. The aim of this study is to analyze the rise of the extreme right within the social construction theory.
