Abstract (EN)
It is known that as long as the Earth exists, solar activity also exist and changes in this activity affect the climate change. These changes have led to different climatic processes that seriously affect the life on Earth over time. Today, climate change has become a serious problem and attentions has been focused on this problem. In general, there are multiple factors on climate change. The sun is one of these factors from the past to the present. In this study, the effect of this factor has been tried to be revealed. However, it is not correct to evaluate the sun as the only factor. Especially, after the industrial revolution, the increase in greenhouse gases and aerosols emissions has seriously masked the effect of solar activity. In this study, monthly average ground temperature data from the General Directorate of Meteorology, Sunspot numbers from SILSO (Sunspot Index and Long-term Solar Observations), CO2 data from NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration), 10.7 cm Solar radio flux data from Space Weather website and the aerosol data obtained from the website of the General Directorate of State Meteorology were used. In this study, the data of 28 stations taken from Antalya province and 5 different provinces around Antalya were used. Correlation and regression analyzes were performed to the obtained data. As a result of these analysis, a low-level significant relationship between climate and solar activity was obtained. KEYWORDS: Sun, Solar Activity, 24. Solar Cycle, Climate Change
