Development of edge matching preparation program on 250000 scale jog maps

In our country, the responsibility for the production of JOG series (land and air) and TFC maps rests with the General Directorate of Maps. Until the 2000s, JOG series maps were produced analogously. After 2000, they started to be produced in digital mapping. With the transition to the digital mapping, many applications have been developed to increase production capacity and save time and labor. 1:250000 scale JOG series maps start from the overlapping areas by taking the printout of the four-sided sheet for the classical edging process and the edging of the four-sided sheet is made. With this application, an edge preparation program has been developed that will enable the four sides of the sheet to be edged quickly with fewer errors in the numerical environment. The purpose of this application is to reduce the work force of cartographers by saving paper and to increase the production speed by saving time.
