Edirne Sharia Records No:270 (1801-1803)

This thesis based on Sharia Records which is one of the most important research sources on Ottoman Empire has been prepared in light of the documents contained in the Edirne Sharia Records No:270. Initially general information about Edirne, Qadi and Sharia Records was given then the books for the years 1801-1803 have been transcribed (208 document) summarized, classified by type and subject of documents. Situation in the years 1801-1803 in Edirne and Rumelia situation was analyzed according to the document and the information.Edict from the center, their answers and other important documents were in the Sicill-i Mahfuz Defterlü, study detailed monitoring the importance of rebellion in Rumelia and the effect of Edirne.
