Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between 2D: 4D finger length and sportive performance of male and female athletes in the tennis branch between the ages of 8-21 who play sports in tennis branch.32 male and female athletes aged between 8-21 years, with a mean age of 12.96 years, a height average of 149.50 cm and a weight average of 48.61 kg, voluntarily participated in the study. Right and left 2D: 4D finger measurements, age (years), height (cm), weight (kg) elasticity (cm), vertical jump (cm), anaerobic power pull-up (pcs), push-up (pcs), speed in 30m (secs), aerobic power (pcs) maxVO2 (ml / kg / min) tests were applied to the athletes. Correlation Analysis Test ,was used for the statistical analysis of the data to determine the relationship between the mean, standard deviation, minimum and maximum values of all parameters, and to determine the relation between the 2D: 4D finger ratio and After the evaluation, right 2D was determined as 63.22 mm, right 4D as 64.30 mm, right 2D and right 4D finger ratio average as 0.98 mm, left 2D mean as 63.31mm, left 4d as 63.54mm, left 2D and left 4D finger ratios mean as 0.99mm, elasticity as 7.80mm, vertical jump as 26.40cm, anaerobic power as 165.95, pull-up average as 27,23, push-up as 13,85 (pcs), speed in 30m as 5,58 seconds, aerobic power as 25,47 (pcs) MaxVO2 28,52 ml / kg / min, right claw as 23,18 kg, and left claw was determined as 22,31 kg. Between right and left hand 2D: 4D finger length ratio and sportive performance parameters, a significant positive correlation (P <0.05; P <0.01) was found between the right 2D:4D finger length ratio and peed in 30m (secs), height, weight, and left claw, and in the left 2D:4D finger length, there was a significant positive correlation between weight and left paw, and a significant negative correlation between aerobic power and push-up (P <0, 05). Moving from all the evaluations made, it was concluded that the right and left 2D:4D finger ratios and tennis athletes' height, body weight, claw and arm strength and aerobic performance parameters were correlated in this study
