The investigation of the toys designed for 36-72 month children due to their developmental area

The aim of this research is to determine the suitability of the toys designed for the children between 36- 72 months with their development area. On account of this aim, the subproblems such as ?If the toys designed for the children between 36- 72 months are suitable for the progress of their self skills, their psychomotor, socialemotional, cognitive, language development? were defined. The research is limited by the firms A, B, C which are toy manufacturer in Ankara and 128 toys which are produced by these firms with the toy investigation criteria convenient to development propertiers at ? preschool education program for the children between 36-72 months? which is affirmed by M.E.B. (2002). The detailed pictures of the toys designed by the A, B, C firms for the children between 36-72 months, the information given by the manufacturer firm and the data containing investigation criteria in CD were sent to 10 person, which 6 of them are carrying out master and doctorate on the subject of preschool educator and 4 of them were graduated from preshool education subsection. The result that the designed toys for the children between 36-72 months support the development of big muscle with 1.48 %, the development of small muscle with 4.46 %, the progress of their self skills with 1.48 %, social-emotional with 7.60 %, cognitive with 6.31 %, language with 10.07 %, totally support all development levels with 5.23 % was attained. As a result of this study the toy manufacturer firms were suggested to prapare the toys with the guidance of development experts and the universities were suggested to attach importance to ?Tool Manufacturing? courses at ?Preschool Education? Departments.
