Abstract (EN)
In our study, the translation and evaluation of Siirt Şer'iyye Registrar Number 418 which covers the years of 1894–1913 in Siirt Province was discussed. In these records; there are 4300 personel marriage records. The names of the spouses, father's names, residence addresses, dates of authorization celibacy and wivdov status, and household numbers, if any, and information about the titles used by invididuals in social life are in our registry. The process of engagement and marriage in Otoman-Islamic family law, permission and marriage are discuessed in general.
