Abstract (EN)

Ahkam registers which have an important role in the Ottoman History Researches is one of the archival sources providing rich data regarding to the region they include. The Rumelian Ahkam Registers, particularly, is a source that ensures significant information on what kind of a judicial remedy the state preferred and the functioning of grievance mechanism of state on the basis of the grievances sent to Divan from sanjaks, kazas and communes (nahiye) in the Rumelian State within Borders of Ottoman State. By realising the research entitled as transcription of the Rumelian Ahkam Registers of Greviances (Ahkam-ı Şikayet Defteri) Numbered 44 pertaining to the years 1790-1791, it has been tried to make contribution to the Rumelian social history researches.
