Abstract (EN)
(1864-1912). Baba Tahir's first publication activity was the fifteen-day journal Bahar, which was published for 19 issues in 1299/1883. The weekly Malumat, which brought Baba Tahir real fame, was published for 423 issues between May 11, 1311 and February 5, 1319 (May 23, 1895 and February 18, 1904). The entire İlave-i Ma'lumat newspaper consists of 19 volumes and 423 issues. The newspaper is also known as Musavver Malumat due to the use of many pictures and photographs. Ma'lumat Newspaper continued to be published for eight years without interruption and became one of the most popular and sought-after newspapers in the Ottoman country. Abdülhamid II ascended the throne in 1876. During his thirty-year reign, there were many magazines and newspapers published in the Ottoman state and abroad. The press life of Abdülhamid II was very active. Many newspapers did not continue to publish consistently. In the İlave-i Ma'lumat newspaper dated December 5, 1895, there were 21 works published. Nine of these works were written in Western music, six in Turkish music and six in choral form. The aim of our subject: To transfer the lyrics of 21 manuscripts of Miscellaneous Works written in Ottoman Turkish in the İlave-i Ma'lumat Newspaper dated December 5, 1895 published by Mehmet Tahir into today's Turkish and to transcribe the notes and to bring them into the Turkish music literature and repertoire. At the same time, a comparative analysis of the works written in Western music, if any, will be made with the version in the Turkish music repertoire today. In addition, the studies of İlave-i Ma'lumat Newspaper dated December 5, 1895 in the literature will be scanned and our researches on the life and art of Composers, its director and editor Mehmet Tahir and Ottoman Sultan Abdülhamid II in İlave-i Ma'lumat Newspaper, quantitative and qualitative literature review method will be used.
