Abstract (EN)

There is no doubt Ottoman Empire had not only a powerful military source but also a deep rooded collection of written source so thus it has a great role in its long life and being an effective power comparing to its contemporary other Turkish and Islamic states. İn doubtfully, one of these collection of written sowce is the Court Records. In this study the governing, socio-cultural situation and cultural structure of Antalya city based on 59 numbered Court Records between 1911 and 1914 era is examined. During this study to make it easy and have a reliable result there are four parts in it. In the first part, there is the development of Antalya in the process of history beginning from the early ages to the XX. century. In the second part, not only Ottoman Law System, the judging, the Ottoman Cour and its task but also the Court Records were examined. There are rapid changes in the structure of Ottoman State and thus, these changes in state governing also affected Antalya. So, in the third part this can be clearly seen where we studied the govermental and foundational structure of Antalya. Socio-economic structure of Antalya is examined in the fourth part under the light of documents which are the main sources of social history studies. With the help of these documents, taking the Antalya sample in the structure of Ottoman society, the goods in daily life and economic development are studied.
