Abstract (EN)

In this study, the polymerization and corrosion performance of 6-amino-m-cresol, aniline and 6-amino-m-cresol coated copper electrodes were investigated on copper in chloride solution. Further, the corrosion performance of poly-6-amino-m-cresol coated stainless steel electrode were investigated in acidic solution. The cyclic voltammetry technique was used to synthesis polymer film. The corrosion potentials of polymer films coated electrodes were determined and Nyquist diagrams of the polymer films coated electrodes were obtained. The three electrode technique was used to for the all experiments. Equivalent circuit models were proposed for bare and polimer films coated electrodes. Poly-AmC coated on stainless steel and Polyaniline/ poly-AmC coated on copper electrodes exhibited important barrier properties. Keywords: Poly-6-amino-m-cresol, Copper, Stainless steel, Impadence.
