The evaluation of the opinions of the 6th grade teachers in the application of social sciences class activities

The purpose of this study is the evaluation of the opinions of the 6th grade teachers in the application of social sciences class activities.Since 2004, a constructive system has been in use in social science education classes which aims to implement more hands-on activities, make students more active in the class, improve themselves, and developing student?s high-level skills.Therefore gaining these skills by the student in the activities of this constructive system has a significant role. For that matter, the ministry of education has issued a separate workbook to further improve this area.In this study we have investigated whether these activities were implemented or not and whether any problems associated with the implementation of these activities have arisen. And if so the evaluations of these problems according to the teachers? point of view are given.In this study, quantitative research model has been used. The sample of the research consists of social science teachers in the province of Adıyaman. They filled out questionnaires prepared for this study and as post-processing method quantitative attitude scale is used.The teachers stated that because of lack of necessary tools and time, these activities could not be implemented effectively.
