Özet (EN)

The purpose of this study was to determine the attachment styles of children between 60-72 months, the interaction of them with mothers and to evaluate the relationships among the features of these interactions and relational research model was used. The study also examined whether attachment styles differ according to the child's gender and the mother's age, education level and employment status. The sample of the study, in which the relational survey model, which is one of the quantitative research methods, has been used, consists of 87 children (48 girls, 39 boys) aged 60-72 months, who study at four public kindergartens and their mothers in the city center of Tunceli. As data collection tools demographic form, Doll Story Completion Task, Emotional Literacy Scale and Cognitive Flexibility Inventory were used. The collected data was analized by SPSS 22.0 program. Parametric tests have been used. Data were analyzed using the Pearson Correlation, Independent T-Test, Chi-Square Test and Multiple linear regression. As a result of the analysis, attachment styles and gender of the child; while no significant relationship has been found between mother's age, education level, employment status, emotional literacy level and cognitive flexibility, a positive significant relationship has been found between mother's emotional literacy and cognitivity.
