Abstract (EN)
The Protection of Worker's Personal Data is inherent in personal rights of worker and worthy to be protected legally. The Constitutional Amendment in 2010, provided an opportunity to prepare the legal basis for the protection of personal data in Turkey. After six years, the Law on the Protection of Personal Data was officially published on April 7th 2016. Even though the recent legislation contains general regulations, it does not include direct regulations for workers and labor law. In this study, the Protection of Personal Data Law No. 6698 and its effects on business relations were examined. After discussing the international and national studies in the field of protection of personal data, the situations that may be a subject for data processing to business life have been examined and finally the results of data processing on the contrary to law have been mentioned.
