Akkirman Sanjak according to 701 Numbered Tahrir Daftar

After having been founded in 1299 , especially with the Sultan Mehmet II?s İstanbul conquest in 1453 , Ottoman State completed it?s foundation process and began to empire process. Afterwards , the boundaries of the empire extended continuously as east-west and north-south. With the conquest of Kefe and Crimea in 1475 by Sultan Mehmet II , the large part of the Blacksea shores were dominated by Ottoman Empire and thanks to this , the impact of Geneose Republic on the Blacksea indistry began to decrease gradually. After that in 1484 the two important cities on the southern shores of Blacksea , Kili and Akkirman were conquered by Bayezid II and as a result of this Blacksea became a Turkish lake as whole.City Akkirman , today Belgorod Dnesterovski , which is the subject of our research presents as city beloging to Odessa , one of the province of Ukraine.Tahrir Daftars , in which the administrative ,economic and demographic records of administrative parts of Ottoman Empire , are the most important sources for local researches. With the help of the data of our Tahrir Daftar as numbered 701 and dated 1574 which belongs to the county Akkirman , the subject of our research , we have examined the structure of the county.According to the Tahrir Daftar as Numbered and dated 1574 i Nefs-i Akkirman which is the center of county Akkirman , consists of 24 districts. Besides there are 35 villages beloging to county Akkirman. We can understand from our Tahrir Daftar that both Muslims , and Non-Muslims live in county Akkirman. Among the non-Muslims the most crowded ones are as in turn : Byzantine Greeks , Jews , Armenians and Gypsies. Among the Muslim , the most important ones are Tatars. When the county?s city and country population of the country is a bit larger than of city?s.On the other hand , when we examine the income of villages , there are no incomes of mukataa,bazaar and custom which are in cities. On the country , there are farming and cattle-breeding incomes here. When we compare the city incomes with country incomes , it is noticed that city incomes are more country incomes. In addition , it is seen that in most parts of the county , the ?raiyyet??s which means slavery tax income, are nearly equal.Keywords : Tahrir , Akkirman ,Kili , Boğdan , Ottoman State
