Abstract (EN)
Our thesis is the Adana ecclesiastical court record number 71. The registry covers Hijri (exilic) 1237 / 1239 and Gregorian between 1821 / 1822 - 1823 / 1824. In our study, firstly information was given about Adana. Court records are mentioned. Then we provided document summaries of the record and then transcription of the documents. The research ends with the conclusion. Court registration number 71 is very rich in content and covers many administrative and judicial issues. Court records which have treasury value are the most important proof of the Ottoman state tradition. It gives information about the ethnic, religious, economic, law and family structure of the Ottoman social structure. It also covers tax and inheritance issues.
