The Study of Gamow-Teller transition properties for R process nuclei in the mass region of A=100-150 by Pyatov Method

In this study, the Gamow-Teller β+ and β- strength distributions in spherical even-even Cd isotopes in the mass region of 100-122 have been studied by using Pyatov Method and proton-neutron Quasiparticle Random Phase Approximation(pnQRPA). Under the light of this purpose, GT β+ and β- strength distributions in these isotopes have been calculated at the first stage. Then, it has been investigated wither there is an effect of the pairing corralations on these distributions or not. At the final stage, our calculation results for 110,114,116Cd isotopes have been compared with the other theoretical and experimental studies. Our results have been demonstrated that the located energy values of the main peak in β- strength distributions of 100-122 Cd isotopes is shifted to the higher values and the right side as the mass number increases, and there is no significant change in the B(GT)- and B(GT)+ values of the corresponding isotopes. Moreover, it has been seen that the energy values of the other GT 1+ states apart from the main peak in the distribution is also shifted to lower energy values, and these states is concentrated on the enenrgy interval of 5-15 MeV. In case of β+ transition strength distributions, only one main peak has been observed. Moreover, it has been seen that a decrease in B(GT)+ values of the main peak has occurred, and Energy values of the main peak and the remaining GT 1+ states in 100-112Cd isotopes have been located in lower energy values as the mass number increases. It has also been obtained two more peaks which have the pronounced B(GT)+ values in addition to main peak in 114-122Cd isotopes. In these isotopes, the energy values of the main peak and these two peaks are started to shift to left side, and they have been observed at lower energy values. We can say that there is a GT fragmentation in the energy interval of 0-25 MeV in 100-122Cd isotopes. As a result of the comparison of our calculations with the other theoretical and experimental studies, it has been seen that the structure of the strength distributions has shown a smilarity, and these distributions are in agreement with the other studies. Pairing correlations have let to some fluctations in B(GT)- and B(GT)+ values. It is not posible to say that a significant increase or decrease in B(GT) values has occured.
