Abstract (EN)

This study which focuses on -(A/I)r morpheme has two dimensions. First of all, the structural and functional features of -(A/I)r are explained in terms of traditional grammar and linguistic studies. After theoretical problems are determined in these studies, the different text types and semantical values in which -(A/I)r is used as a suffix after the verbs are examined according to tense-mood-aspect in order to define semantical features which are not pointed out in tradional grammar and linguistic studies. And according to these studies the therotical problems are determined. In the second dimension of this study it is examined how functions of -(A/I)r morpheme are taught in the process of teaching Turkish as a foreign language depending on description study. And the problems of teaching are found out.Key Words: -(A/I)r morpheme, tense-mood-aspect, foreign language teaching
