Abstract (EN)
In this study, the AA 6082 (6xxx series) sheet material was subjected to fatigue testing in age hardened and annealed conditions and the results obtained were compared. Thus, the effect of different temper contion on fatigue properties of the alloy was investigated. The influence of temper condition on the microstructure was investigated by employing SEM and then discussed. As a result, the effect of the temper condition on fatigue life was evaluated by conducting fatigue tests and it was well demonstrated that the temper condition affected the fatigue life.
