Abstract (EN)
In this study it is questioned the possibility for the EU to acquire the goals relating renewable energy sources as envisaged in its 2020 Strategy and 2050 Vision, with the available fiscal and financial endorsement instruments. In order to run the analysis in the optimum level a Financial Analysis Model for Feasebilities has been formed and come to conclusion that it is unlikely to reach the envisaged targets. EU should consider 2015 as a vantage point from where it can reassess its goals within the first decade to come and revise the fiscal and financial endorsement instruments such a way as to achieve its predetermined goals in subsequence the years of 2020 and 2050. The Union should abandon its wait-and-see policies and postponing the ultimate decision until 2035 to determine which scenario would be put into operation to run the process of decarbonization scenarios, and it should rather opt for 2020 to act. Because nowadays renewable energy sources' production and consumption, their technological development and capacity configurations have become identical with the level of modernity.
