Abstract (EN)
Although the use of computed tomography (Computed Tomography, CT) offers great benefits, there are concerns about possible risks of exposure to radiation; especially for pediatric patients who are more sensitive to radiation. CT is very important in pre-treatment planning in cancer patients and in maintaining the position of the patients throughout the treatment. However, in the treatment of cancer patients, observations from CT scans before and during treatment are not observed. For this reason, the radiation dose given to the tissues exposed to x-rays during CT scans allows these patients to go to a place in a healthier way than their children. This reader is the use of the NCICT ready program of inquiry by the Cancer Institute of America. This program works as the Monte Carlo foundation and exists in phantoms defined as human-like digital structure. Organ doses are calculated based on the Monte Carlo technique after the necessary operating information and keywords are given. The heart wall defined as the critical organ of these patients, their explanations and the dose received by their transplants were determined for abdominal CT scans according to their mass, height, and gender, taking into account the Computed Tomography Dose Index (CTDI) measurement. By keeping the required CT operating parameters constant, the change in the calculations was calculated directly depending on the height, weight and gender of the phantom.
