Özet (EN)
Advances in multi-sectional CT technology have revolutionized CT angiography.Through these advances , MSCT angiography in the evaluation of vascular anatomy , variation and pathologies has increased considerably. The advantages of MSCT of angiography can be expressed as use of efficient X-ray tube , high temporal resolution , high spatial resolution in 2 axe , increase in intravascular contrast matter concentration , reduction of imaging noise and screening of anatomic structures of one time. The study was carried ouf on 452 patiensts (236 female , 216 male ) on whom abdominal CT test (such as dynamic CT conprising arterial phase and MSCT angiography test) were performed in the department of radiology , Medical Faculty Hospital , Dicle University ,between may 2006 and september 2008. İn 248 ( % 56.3 ) of the patients evaluated in the study ,variation was observed in one or more main branches of abdominal aorta. The most commonly encounttered variation was seen in hepatic artery in 137 (% 31.1 ) patients. Among the most commonly defermined hepatic artery variations was the replaced right hepetic artery originating from süperior mesenterik artery , which was defected in 46 patients making up % 33.5 of the patients with variation in hepatic artery. While variation was determined in çölyak truncus in 32 ( %7.2) patients , it was found to be normal in the remaining 408 ( % 92.8 ) patients . Of 440 patients included into the assessment ,variation was detected in 80 ( % 18.2 ) cases in süperior mesenteric artery , whereas it was observed to be normal in 360 ( % 81.8 ) patients. Furthermore , of all the patients , splenic artery was evaluated to be normal in 437 ( % 99.3 ) cases as the branch of çölyak truncus . İn the study , bilateral one renal artery was detected in 256 ( % 58.1 ) patients and early braching was observed. Of patients with variation , the variation was observed in both renal arteries in 59 ( % 13.4 ) ,only in right renal artery in 61( % 13.8 ) patients and only in left renal artery in 43 ( % 9.7 ) patients. Renal artery origines in both renal arteries were revealed mostly at L1 vertevral corpus levelTo knov variations of the abdominal aorta and its maiin branches is of paramounth importance in the prevention of complications and in the efficacy of the procedure in many surgical interventions. İn our study , it was shown that these variations are commonly seen and that they can be revealed by MSCT anjiography. The advances in MSCT anjiography are contining. Therefore , MSCT anjiography seens tobe a golden candidate for assessment of variations in vascular structures and their pathologies.
