Edition critic of muamelât (transactions) part of Hadakü'l-'Uyûn Fî Şerhi̇ Muhtasari̇'l-Küdûrî, work of Abdulevvel B. Hâmi̇d

Provisions on financial transactions are the most important and broadest issues discussed by Fiqh (Islamic Law). Scholars, -from past to present- has served outstandingly to Fiqh provisions by means of text, commentary, explanation, poetry, and prose. Some of these provisions were written in an independent way, some of them presented them in the books containing all the Fiqh chapters. One of the books that compiled in the text form is the text of al-Quduri (el-Kudûrî') which is named as "muhtasar (summary)". As being one of the most important books, many scholars have commented on it. Hadakü'l-'uyûn which is one of these comments belongs to Abdulevvel Abdulevvel b. Hüseyn b. Hasan b. Hâmid er-Rûmî, who is known as Ibn Ummi Veled (d. 950). This study is an edition critic on the financial processing sections in the comment. This study consist of two sections. The first section is study/research; the second section is verification/criticism. In the study section, al-Quduri (el-Kudûrî) and his texts are briefly introduced. Then detailed information is given about the author Abdulevvel b. Hüseyn b. Hasan b. Hâmid, whom we had limited information in the sources notably Şerhu Hadaki'l-Uyun. Then, the written copies and presentations were discussed. In the researcher's written text part, the text and commentary of the book are presented according to the method used by the Islamic Research Center (ISAM). The aim of the study is to shed light on this scholar who is far from the eyes, to announce his position among Hanafi, to reveal his scholarly contributions and to reach the closest picture targeted by the author.
