Prof. Dr. Kazım KÖKTEKİN This study on a sixteenth century Jagatay-Ottoman dictionary entitled Abuşka Lugat or Çağatay Lugat consist of an introduction, the main text and a conclusion. İn the introduction part, information about Jagatay Literatuare and Jagatay Turkish, Ali Sir Nevai, Jagatay dictionaries and the Abuşka dictionary is given. The transcriptional and editional text of the Abuşka dictionary makes up the main part of text. Here five manuscripts out of twenty and Besim Atalays work written with the Latin alphabet were used. 3027 Jagatay words are given with their Latin and Arabic forms in the "index". Also a seperate index is given for the names of authors, writers and places.
