The tradition of the act of narration which is stil carried out byminstrels and public storytellers, is currently quite weakened. The person who we haveappointed as a source is Mr. Abuzer Asiksever. He has the skills of a public storyteller andmimic in the lines of the tradition of public storytellers and mimics, and he also owns theskills of minstrels which causes him to be evaluated as a "storyteller".The amount and variations of folkstories are increasing everyday with the researchesand studies which uncover the cultural prosperity. Twenty-two stories and one tale which arenarrated by Mr. Abuzer Asiksever with the Celikhan dialect, are collected and written innormal Turkish in our research.
