Özet (EN)

This research aims to study the diversity in the liverworts of Acarlar Lake Foodplain Forests, which is one of the most important wetlands and flooded forestlands in Turkey. The study is the first of its kind and investigates the flora of the liverworts extensively. The research field, Acarlar Lake Longoz Forest, is located in the province of Sakarya and the region of Marmara, and borders Karasu and Kaynarca provinces. Research in the field of different vegetation period (July 2016-March 2017) made 70 liverwort collected as a result of field work done for example in the diagnosis of 13 species belonging to 12 families and 20 species belonging to this genus have been identified. According to the grid-square system, five of these species (Riccia sorocarpa Bisch., Riccia fluitans L., Riccia nigrella DC., Cephalosia ambigua C. Massal., Fossombronia husnotii Corb.) Henderson (1961) are new records for square A2. The richest families, in terms of number of species, are Ricciaceae (3 species), Lophocoleaceae (3 species) and Fossombroniaceae (3 species). The most common species are Riccia and Fossombronia, which contain 3 species and Lophocolea, Cephalozia and Scapania which contain 2 species.
