Abstract (EN)
Conduction of electricity is carried out through overhead line conductors. The choice of conductors used in energy transmission lines is very important. It is aimed to minimize energy losses in overhead line conductors to be used. As electricity demands continue to increase, it has become more important to increase the capacity and efficiency of transmission lines. Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR), commonly called traditional conductors, are used in high voltage transmission lines. It is aimed to increase the current carrying capacity by increasing the dimensions in these conductors. The outer strands are high purity aluminium, chosen for its good conductivity, low weight and low cost. The center strand is steel for additional strength to help support the weight of the conductor. Steel is higher strength than aluminium which allows for increased mechanical tension to be applied on the conductor. It is difficult to give up this feature as steel provides the strength duty. As the current carrying capacity increases, the conductor's weight also increases. Another important negative factor is sag situation, This shortens the life of the conductor line and causes sagging at high temperatures. In order to meet the increasing energy demands with the advancing technology, Aluminium Coductor Composite Core (ACCC) have been developed in recent years, which combine the increase in efficiency and current carrying capacity, allowing more power to be transmitted with less loss with less sag compared to conventional conductors of the same diameter and weight. In this study, Produced first times in Turkey of ACCC Lisbon will be examined parameters affecting the mechanical and electrical properties (such as strength, elongation, conductivity) and improvement works will be explained. In field applications, performance comparison will be explained using ACCC Lisbon (Aluminium Conductor Composite Core) instead of ACSR Hawk conventional conductor in Inegöl TM İnegöl DM energy transmission line. According to performance reults; with the ACCC Lisbon, the current carrying capacity was increased by %15 in the conductor renewal project, Sag values were reduced by approximately 1.5 meter.
