Abstract (EN)

Primary aims of this study, which is about the Acemhöyük Early Bronze Age Pottery, were the definition technical characteristics of the pottery recovered from different levels, their classification and determination of general characteristics of pottery assemblage. Stratigraphical analysis of the material most of which recovered from southeastern slope indicated that Acemhöyük settled uninterruptedly from the end of Early Bronze Age II. All of the Early Bronze Age pottery recovered from the various areas of Acemhöyük indicated a different characteristic from the Central Anatolian Pottery. This situation especially observed on the emergence of significant amount of wheel-made pottery in level X. This development observed on the pottery production technology together with Western Anatolia originated pottery and Syrian Bottle fragments indicate the role of Acemhöyük on the intraregional cultural and trade relations.
