In our study, age factor, co-morbidities such as CAD, HT, cancer/immunosuppression, history of CVO, intensive care follow-up and advanced oxygen support treatment, high CURB-65 score, dyspnea symptom, fever, tachycardia, tachypnea, hypoxia and hypotension, hematological parameters HGB, RBC, RDW, NLR and MPV, biochemical parameters urea, creatine, LDH, AST, cardiac markers (troponin, CK-MB, myoglobin), coagulation parameters PT, INR, D-dimer. fibrinogen, acute phase reactants CRP, procalcitonin; Among the CT findings, diffuse infiltration, consolidation, LAP and pleural effusion findings were found to be associated with mortality. In our study, it was found that the combined use of CURB-65 score and MPV was predictive of intensive care follow-up and mortality. Conclusion: The combined use of mean platelet volume and CURB-65 score in Covid-19 patients admitted to the emergency department can be used as a predictor of hospitalization and mortality.
