Geodesic applications on open pit mining

In our country, industry of lignite coal is run by Turkey Coal Company (TKİ). TKİ established in 1957 and TKİ have 4 institutions, 4 company head offices, 1 control head office and 3 control chief engineering which are spreaded on our native country. Adequately 90 % pits is producing by TKİ with open pit mine method. Doing geodesic researches in open pit mine are very important with providing technology and remaining necessity to engineering projects like lots of parts which are giving service about engineering. Quality of stripping is confirming with measurements adequately 150-200 million m3 every year so preparing intial parts to finally parts all researches about stripping projects surveying engineers have more important responsibities.
