Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aimed to identify the effects of physical environment factors on perceptual performances of employees. To this end, open offices of the same characteristics on the different stories of the building under the service of Dep. of Investigation-Planning and Dep. of Water Supply and Sewage Disposal of DSİ, Ankara have been included in this study and the differences in characteristic features of employees in these rooms such as age and sex have also been taken into consideration. The data of study have been gathered through a detailed survey conducted to the employees; moreover, the photos of the sites have been taken and settlement plans have been set. After all, most of the employees in the open office indicate that open office affects the friend relationships in a positive way and they favor painting in different and colors of the walls. Due to the privacy conditions they introduce a demand for their own rooms and employees with different points of view argue that open office strengthens the friendship relations.
