Examination of the relationship between approaches of learning with levels of succes of open and distance learners

Abstract (EN)

The aim of this research is to examinate the relationship between approaches of learning with levels of success of open and distance learners. In the research, screening model which is of the quantitative research methods was used. The research was carried out with volunteer participants who were registered to Faculty of Open Education of Anadolu University. Approaches of Learning and Study Inventory by Topkaya, Yaka and Öğretmen (2018) developed to was used as the data collection tool. The research, were interviewed of 853 people according to the sample selection method which was not easily based on probability. As a result of the correlation analysis, it is find that there is a significant relationship between the sub-dimensions of approach of learning and study, in-depth learning, superficial learning, work and effort management and level of success. The sub-dimension of study and effort management have been determined to with a significant relationship between number of login to lessons, number of access to account and number of access to materials. The results obtaine in the research, it will attribution for contribute to determination the approach of learning preferences of open and distance learners and levels of succes. Also, the results obtained in this reserach are intended to support to studies on approaches of learning and levels of succes of open and distance learners.
