Abstract (EN)
This research aims to determine the type of interaction and communication that open and distance learning institutions should have with their learners in social networks with respect to organizational commitment. Accordingly, the theoretical foundation of the research is based on the theory of interaction and communication and andragogy. The principles of these theories have been intersected on a matrix developed within the framework of organizational commitment. As a result, research questions to be directed to field experts have been formulated. The responses of field experts who voluntarily participated in the study have been analyzed via NVIVO12 program. Main and sub-themes have emerged following the data analysis. The type of communication and interaction that open and distance learning institutions should have with the learners in social networks in terms of student engagement has been identified in line with expert opinions. The research findings are considered significant as they support the relevant body of literature.
