Program evaluation in open and distance learning: Online English exam course practice

Open and Distance Learning (ODL) has been widely used all over the world as well as Turkey in recent years. It is also used for foreign language teaching, especially for English as a response to the increasing demands. The courses evaluated in this dissertation is important as the instructors and technical staff both experts in their fields and still studying in ODL departments in master and phd. The findings are gathered and reported from participants, trianers and technical staff in four different trainings which are delivered through Learning Management System (LMS). In successive trainings, some improvements are put into practice as a result of taking into account of feedbacks taken from all shareholders. It is hoped that, the study will help students and academicians working on ODL and will contribute the further studies on program evaluation of ODL.
