Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to identify evaluation criteria for interactive e-books for open and distance learning systems. The study was designed as a mixed model in which Delphi technique and heuristic inquiry method were applied to obtain and analyze data. In the first stage of the study, both quantitative and qualitative data were collected through a four-round Delphi study with an expert panel consisting of 30 panelists. In the second stage of the study, a total of 20 interactive e-books were examined with heuristic inquiry methodology. The research findings of Delphi technique and heuristic inquiry method were integrated in the final process of this study. In this study, based on a literature review, definition, features, advantages and disadvantages of interactive e-books were also put forth for consideration. As a result of the study, 4 themes, 14 dimensions and 37 criteria were developed for interactive e-books in open and distance learning. In conclusion, the results as well as their implications were discussed and suggestions for future research were presented
