Abstract (EN)
In my thesis witch titled "A group of stelae in the archaeological museum of Adana", it is aimed to photograph, define, analogy, iconographic and epigraphic interpretation of seventy-two grave stele found in the depots and exhibition halls of the museum. This catalog will shed light on future work. The geography of Adana is presented in the light of the information obtained from ancient sources. There is brief information about the development of grave steles and grave inscriptions. The origin of the steles that belong to the Adana Museum from Zeugma and Belkıs Höyük where is located in Gaziantep, Jarablus which is located within the Syrian borders, are examined. As a result, it was aimed to define and catalog the steles with different dates and provenances, which were included in the museum inventory.
