Abstract (EN)

Within the context of this research, 11 of 20 endemic taxa, which are found only in Adana province globally, and Scorzonera boissieri Lipschitz. had been searched by field work through the years 2012-2013. Among these 11 taxa, Galium pterocarpum Ehrend, Allium gorumsense Boiss., Anthemis antitaurica Grierson, Scorzonera boissieri Lipschittz., Onobrychis beata Sirj. species are identified and studied from an ecological, floristical and vegetational point of view. As a result of this research, IUCN categories of these taxa are found to be as following: Allium gorumsense Boiss. DD, Galium pterocarpum Ehrend. EN (D), Scorzonera boissieri Lipschitz. DD, Anthemis antitaurica Grierson DD, Onobrychis beata Sirj. EN (A1d.) The structure of soil and floristic composition are observed to be effective in the spread of endemic taxa. This study is a first in evaluating the endemic taxa from an ecological point of view and therefore can be assessed as a step for better understanding the nature of these taxa.
