Abstract (EN)
In this study, the relationship between an important air pollutant, SO2 (sulphur dioxide), data collected at the air quality measurement station of Governship located at the city center of Adana and parameters such as temperature, pressure, humidity and wind speed were evaluated seasonally by statistical analyses using Minitab17™. The study covered 8 periods (seasons) between June 2012 and June 2014. In 7 out of 8 periods, the regression analyses of periodical data revealed that SO2 in the air was related with at least one of the meteorological conditions, except wind speed. 6 out of 7 related periods, it was obviously seen that the temperature was influential, and in 3 of the periods the pressure and humidity were influential.
