Abstract (EN)

ABSTRACT The Diagnosis And Evaluation Achieved From Amateur Footballers Who Applied to Adana Sports Center of Health. From the early centuries up to now, human beings used muscle power to carry out many kinds of work, especially for feeding and transportation. In those days, people died of infectious diseases or wars when they were at young ages or before they got old enough. After the industrial revolution men began to use new machines for production and motors cars for transportation. That decreased the need of using muscle power, and the achievements to cure infectious diseases the and improvements in social conditions made the over age life expectancy longer. As a result of this, some health problems based on immobility and called modern century illness, increased rapidly and much. Nowadays, our children are used to playing their games in virtual words, and they even go to the nearest schools by services which brings physical inactivity. This will cause to increase the ilhesses based on obesity in the near future and the problems we will face often in the far future. The studies to search the discomforts based on immobility, started in 1950, and they still go on. At the end of these studies, it is proved that the physical activity increases the life quality of organism and blocks the formation of some illnesses. This distinguishing type of study with a sample group of 500 sportsmen has been made in Adana sportsman health center. The goal of this study is to find out the illnesses of sportsmen, if they have, and learn their educational levels marital status jobs, alcohol and smoking habits job of their parents and their sport level and them according to their demographical diagnosis and laboratory results. The age average of this sample group was 18.0+3.9, (min:14, max:41) and the average number of children in their families was 3.8±1.8. It is proved that children having sportsmen parents in their families had a tendency towards sport. Children who come from the families where the parents don't have bad habits or using alcohol and smoking, had less bad smoking habits or using alcohol then the others. It is also proved that 33.4% of sportsmen had sinus bradycardy, 7.8% of them had incomplet right block and XI0.4% had first rate A-V block. 8.4% of them had pathologic urine diagnosis, 18.0% of them had fungal infections. The hemoglobin average of sportsmen was 14.5±1.0 gr/dl and 11.6% of them had anemia. None of the sportsmen had obesity and they had less cholesterol averages. The average of cholesterol was 138.4±41.4 mg/dl, and the average of trigliceride was 111.4±41.8 mg/dl. The average of trigliceride and cholesterol of smokers was higher. It is found that the obesity groups had a higher trigliceride and cholesterol averages than those who had a weak body mass index. These diagnos are in accordance with literature knowledge and they increase the physical activities and health capacities of sportsmen and decrease the formation of the chronical illnesses.
